Antique Scottish Grandfather Clock

We have a grandfather clock that was handmade in Glasgow, Scotland in the mid to late 1700s and was handed down from first-born son to first-born son ever since.

It immigrated to the U. S. between 1900-1915. Could anyone tell us how we would identify the maker, have it restored and repaired, and obtain an appraisal?

There are no markings on the back, i.e. no stamps, carvings, or engravings.
