C.1929, Chelsea Clock Co., Columbus, 8-day Ship's Bell 6" dials, clock and barometer DESK SET, with the serial number 194888. Condition: Heavy bronze case in very nice condition with wear to the lacquer finish. French made barometer with a silvered dial is very clean with some wear to the paint in the engraved areas. Original silvered dial has some minor tarnish, a couple of scratches and most of the name worn off. Hands are original. See the Desk series in Demeter's book titled Chelsea Clock Company, the First Hundred Years, pages 148-9, this model introduced in 1911, and was re-named the "Columbus" in 1928. Barometer seems to work and clock is running and striking. Ht. 9"

If you get this before Sept 18th check Ebay Item number 260663896882 it is your clock and starting bid is US $9,500.00 or buy it now price is US $11,500.00. I think I'd insure that clock and set on it for awhile unless you need money and then I'd say you could make a good sum from it's sale.
Good Luck.
