General Electric Grandmother Clock running in reverse

My 1940's GE Grandmother clock has a telechron motor that I thought was bad. Someone took the motor out to look at it, then replaced it. I plugged it in and it is running counter clock wise. I unplugged it. Are the wires reversed or something.
