Gustav Becker?
by: Bill

Hi William,

That could be a Gustav Becker, but I'm not sure. Most Becker clocks I've seen had signed movements, but I know that most clock manufacturers did not sign all their works.

The triangle type movement is very common with time only movements from many different companies. Most Vienna Regulators, and American Schoolhouse and Office Regulators had this type of movement.

Maybe someone will drop by this page and recognize this particular clock model. Please let us know if you do.

Is It A Real Becker?
by: Ed

I have several Becker's and they are all marked on the movement.

I must say over the years I have never seen one that was not marked. I suppose it is possible, but most are marked at least on the plate, if not the dial.

Hi Ed,

I agree with you about the fact that it is not common to see a Becker clock that is not signed either on the dial, or at least the plate of the movement.

Although I never remember seeing one that was not signed, maybe I did but since it was not signed, I failed to see it as being a Gustav Becker clock.

I believe it might be one of his early watches. Does it have any numbers on it?

Thank You

I would like to thank everyone sending in their information on my ? Gustav Becker Clock. And a big thank you to Bill Harveson for giving me the opportunity to place it on his web site. There are no numbers on any part of the clock.
