My antique Seth Thomas clock

I don't know much about this clock except that it is extremely heavy for the size, weighing 8 pounds. It's beautiful & has a few marks on the back; the ST in a diamond in a circle, the number 5, & Made in US America. Anything you could tell me would be appreciate! Thanks.
