Old mantel clock

This clock was left to me by my father. It is very heavy and made of black wood with green marble inlay.

It comes with a key and pendulum. It is in very good condition. I don't know if it works because I was afraid to turn key and mess with it.

The numbers on the inside are 1750 - can't make out the name maybe J or T Marto?
