Pearl Harbor clock

My step father who recently passed away left me a Seth Thomas Mark 1 deck clock that he removed from the USS Missouri when he was stationed in Pearl Harbor circa 1945.

I was wondering if there was any way to identify and validate information about this clock from it's serial number?
