Uncle Bill's Clock

I received this clock from my uncle in Shelby, North Carolina back in the 1970s. He got the clock from an employer many years earlier. I have no background other than that.

It was in working condition, but I have not wound it up in years. I'm hoping someone can give me some information on the history of the clock and what it might be worth.
