Westclox Moon alarm clock

I have a 50's Westclox Moon alarm clock. This clock has a light that comes on when the alarm time comes around, then after about five minutes of the blinking light a buzzer is suppose to come on.

On my clock, the light comes on but the buzzer does not. I do hear a click or vibration when the buzzer is suppose to come on, but no real auditable buzzer.

Do you have any idea why the buzzer isn't coming on and what it would take to fix it? let me know, thanks. Andy
