WM. L Gilbert "The Boston"

We bought this clock at auction. Is was sold to us as " an 1900 WM. L. Gilbert 8 day kitchen clock with alarm".

There is a very faded label on the back of the clock that says "The Boston" Any help would be great. This is the only clock that we have bought, and know very little about them. We love the way this one chimes.
